something bad happened to our cable internet connection this week. the family returned from our trip up north and found that our internet connections now well under 100kb/sec. - stinks!
i actually had plans to "nuke and pave" my workstation as part of my year-end house cleaning, but now i'm putting that off. not looking forward to doing a Windows Update of my install with this kind of throughput!
i really have come to expect the "always-on" internet. bummer when i am reminded that this is not a reality.
